To start, we like to meet with the couple three times.

1. First, we meet with the couple together.  This is to get to know each other, learn about the history of the couple, answer questions, etc.  We also provide a questionnaire for each member of the couple to complete while not sharing the answers with each other!
   
2. Next, we meet with each person individually.  This is a deeper examination as we ensure each person is entering into the marriage properly.  We look for vulnerability and talk about the answers to the above questionnaire.
   
3. Finally, we meet with the couple together again.  This is to answer any final questions, make sure the couple is honest with each other, and determine if the couple is indeed ready to be married.  We begin to talk about customization and the specifics of the wedding while also sketching the particulars of any contract.
   

It is important to highlight the fact that we do not take on every marriage simply to get a paycheck.  Couples need to be completely open and honest with each other, knowing with confidence that each person is entering into the union with a clear mind.

At this point, we begin to discuss things like the date, time, and location, while also figuring out the rehearsal plans and other details.  From this point on, it's pretty standard!  We are available to answer any questions or discuss further.
